I had an amazing time traveling to Miami and participating in the AARP Innovation Labs and Venture Miami's "Connect & Thrive Pitch Competition" on March 9th.
The Frost Science Museum was an ideal venue to host this in-person event, dedicated to showcasing innovations in Agetech that help us stay connected and happy as we age.
Over 250 people attended and the pre-pitch party included music, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres. Even Mayor Francis Suarez made an appearance!
Chatables did not walk away with a big check, but the experience was incredible and I enjoyed sharing with the audience and judges what our team has built and how we believe it can improve lives. We truly believe that interactive voice technology--and virtual friends--can help fill the void when human companions are not available.
Here is a brief interview I did right before the pitch competition.
